Jun 24, 2009 - Eddie's american label, Liberty Records, never released the song in the States. It wasn't released until 1961 in the UK. Eddie died in a car accident in England Easter Sunday 1960. Some of Eddie's great rock stuff came to light post-humously, eg "My Way", which wasn't released until 1964 in England.

It's like having all these gold pieces from Fort Knox and trying to rate them! I cannot understand why he wasn't so popular in in U.S. I read where he was a smash in the U.K. (I would have only been 8 when he died).
