Ossuaries are very rare in France. We will not divulge the location of this particular one -- come visit France, and find them for yourself! We also seek out Danses Macabres (especially from the 15th century, when they were in vogue), boîtes à chef (skull boxes), and other fascinating burial ritual and church items and aspects. The local people in this remote Brittany village do not even know this is here, for the most part. We drove around for the better part of an afternoon, and no one had heard of it -- not even the "depot de pain" across the road! It took us 14 years to find this particular one. New York University Press did an excellent book in 2007, UP IS UP BUT SO IS DOWN, about the downtown New York literary scene from the 1970s through the early 1990s, and Lisa's BIKINI GIRL is in that. It also includes Nick Zedd, with whom Lisa has been collaborating recently. Three major motion pictures written by Lisa are in pre-production, and Melvin Van Peebles has agreed to direct them. She has six books "in the pipeline," most non-fiction, and the first one slated for release in Spring, 2010 is THE FRANK LETTERS (BOOK WHISPERER PRESS, New York/Paris). THE FRANK LETTERS will also be a major motion picture, with Melvin Van Peebles as the senior director, and Nick Zedd and Randy Russell as associate directors. A one-hour documentary is in pre-production for public television (first in the USA, then around the world) titled "An Immodest Proposal (THE FRANK LETTERS)."
