DESTINY'S SONG is unique in that it is a true-to-life song that celebrates the life of 11 year old Destiny Dawn Dyer, a child living in Franklin, Kentucky who suffers from a rare bone disease. This is just one of over 10,000 personalized, one-of-a-kind songs the SONGS OF LOVE FOUNDATION has provided to seriously ill children in over 350 hospitals nationwide, free of charge. Since its inception ten years ago, more than 500 songwriters and singers have contributed their talents. The list of participating artists keeps growing. DESTINY'S SONG was written by country notables: Tammy Cochran, Deborah Allen & Anita Cochran along with Carl Allocco, a longtime member of the SONGS OF LOVE team of regular staff writers, and was recorded by Tammy, Anita & Deborah as a gift to the foundation. It got some air play on GAC, but since there was no major label behind this song and cd, it didn't find the audience that it should have. You can tell that the 3 of these ladies sing from their hearts.
